It never removes functionality, and downgrading never deletes anything you’ve already configured (see the FAQ for exactly what happens to a category over its new limit). Activating premium: To activate or switch premium, use /premium activate command to switch or activate a premium in a guild the bot is in.

Which tier do I need?

  • Free is enough if you’re running a single support category, maybe one application category and a small staff team.
  • Plus makes sense once you’re splitting tickets across a few categories (support, reports, appeals) or want your ticket channels and application messages to actually match your server’s branding.
  • Max is for servers running tickets and applications at scale the largest teams, the most categories, and full control over the bot’s per-server identity with /bot.
